Girls Camp 2010!

"Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest" Joshua 1:9.

Go Here to read the talk given by Prophet Monson, "May you have Courage". The theme for camp will relate to the 2010 Mutual theme. We're going to be all about COURAGE this year, and it's going to be fantastic! He highlights three points in the talk, we will use these as sub themes for our days at camp. They are

* The courage to refrain from judging others.
* The courage to be chaste and virtuous.
* The courage to stand firm in truth and righteousness.

YCL's need to begin thinking about this theme, and get working on a slogan for camp with courage! We'll be meeting in January, can't wait to see you all!!!

YCL's like to party, they like to party

CL's have been working (that's what we like to call it) hard to get ready for camp! It's coming up quick!

We had a YCL party, I mean meeting last week to hammer out a few more details and we are really getting excited for the end of the month!

The leaders are having meetings and getting everything "hashed out" as we get closer to camp! It's going to be great!

March 6th Friday!

Attention YCL's!!!!!! We are having our first party, whoops...I mean meeting! Friday March 6th at 7pm. We're going to be at Kathy Browns house for food and fun. You don't want to miss out. You ladies will be making lots of decisions this night. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Upcoming Stuff!

Girls camp is coming up, and I am so excited! We have some things coming up soon starting with our first YCl meeting. It will probably be the first week of March. We'll have some fun, and get some important decisions made. The girls will decide what logo design to use for our camp shirts. We have some really neat ideas for the YCL's to look at. It will be great to get together and hang out while preparing for camp 2009.

On Saturday April 25th we are having our Camp kick-off at the stake center. We'll have registration going on, along with a parents meeting, and some pre certification. We'll have a lunch, and some other activities as well. It will be good to get all the girls together again, I am really looking forward to it. I would love to hear from anyone reguarding camp. It was such a great experience for me to be with all of you amazing women, and I can't wait to be there again this year!
